Official video: GameStick Developer Kit unboxing

PlayJam, the makers of the forthcoming GameStick console, shows the unboxing of the developer kits currently going out to Kickstarter backers that made this concept a reality.

The Android-based console will connect to any HD television and allows users to play a range of Android games with the bundled Bluetooth gamepad. The video includes a brief look at what is currently on offer, as a preview of the final version to go on sale later in the year.

The GameStick will also feature Miracast support, the wireless HD transmission standard adopted on devices including the LG Nexus 4, Sony Xperia Z, ZL, T and V, plus various models from Samsung – such as the Galaxy S3, S4, Note II and more using the brand-name ‘AllShare Cast’.
