Samsung reveals F8500 LED Smart TV

Samsung has unveiled its latest LED Smart TV, the F8500.

Samsung-F8500-LEDSamsung unveiled quite a raft of products at January’s CES show in Las Vegas but there was at least one new product being held back – the new F8500 LED Smart TV. The F8500 is the first of Samsung’s TV line to have a powerful quad core processor.

That processor is designed to make short work of apps and games downloadable from the new Smart Hub as well as speeding up the user interface of the TV and making transitions between functions like the internet and watching video much more responsive. The F8500 has a 55 inch LED screen with ultra slim bezel for near edge-to-edge display and Samsung’s Intelligent Viewing feature, which adjusts picture quality on the fly depending on what you are watching.

The TV includes Samsung’s reworked Smart Hub interface including motion control using the new remote control and voice commands. Samsung has also equipped the F8500 with its Smart Evolution system to allow easy upgrade to whatever the next generation of Samsung TVs has under the hood as soon as it becomes available.
